You can still contribute to Homecoming and the home-coming work of JFON
with a gift today - help make this event the most successful fundraiser event
in JFON's history!
Homecoming is commonly known as a reunion — for JFON, Homecoming is about gathering people together, sharing a spirit of hope and justice, and celebrating the home-comings we fight for every day alongside our immigrant neighbors.
In a time when families face heightened threats and immigrants and our community are under attack, your partnership helps turn hope into action.
We enjoyed a wonderful night filled with purpose — complete with drinks, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, music, prizes, and stories of resilience and justice. We hope to see you next year!
FEatured speaker: REP. James Talarico

Representative James Talarico is a former public school teacher first elected to serve in the Texas House of Representatives in 2018. Born in Round Rock, Rep. Talarico attended Wells Branch Elementary School and graduated from McNeil High School before earning degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and Harvard University. After college, he taught middle school on the Westside of San Antonio. He currently sits on the Public Education Committee, the Juvenile Justice and Family Issues Committee, and the Calendars Committee.
“I was born in Central Texas to a single mom who fled abuse to protect me. My mom was a fighter and she taught me that Democrats fight for the people; for the many against the powerful few—whether they’re bullies, bigots, or billionaires. That's why I fight for Texans every day in our state Capitol.” - Rep. Talarico
speaker: Pablo Veliz

Pablo Castillo Véliz is an award winning director and producer from within the immigrant community. Starting out in narrative film with awards in Sundance and a variety of film festivals, he has taken the narrative structure and put his own twist on how commercial and documentary work can be associated with creative story telling.
Yearbook
Last year we added a section in the printed program we called the "Yearbook."
This year, the Yearbook specifically focused on featuring tributes to family members, friends, and others we consider icons who are immigrants our guests wanted to honor.
Sponsorship levels come with various complimentary entries. Individual Yearbook entries are a quarter-page in size, or 2" wide by 4" tall. Full pages can be kept whole, halved, or quartered.
This is a great way to participate in the event and support JFON even when you can't make it to Homecoming next year!

Brodie Homestead
A perfect balance of rustic charm and modern elegance, the incredible cathedral-like ceilings and large stone walls are original to the barn, and nearly all of the wood used inside the building was repurposed from the original structure. There are also some new additions, including the six stunning crystal chandeliers and recycled maple floors.
